The play will begin a limited 12-week engagement at the Golden Theatre on April 19 and open on April 27, directed by Anything Goes star Joel Grey, with assistance from George C. Wolfe.

Stark Sands (Generation Kill) has also been cast in a supporting role. Oscar winner Kathryn Bigelow has signed on to direct the pilot, which is described as an examination of a New York family as seen through the eyes of a charismatic, self-destructive Broadway composer (played by Tony winner Eddie Redmayne). Hope Davis, Frank Langella, and Patti LuPone round out the cast. oh my god oh my god oh my god I am so watching this.
